Elmore was asked by The Guardian newspaper to write a six word story.  This form is credited to Ernest Hemingway with the following:

“For sale: baby shoes, never worn.”

Hemingway, as the legend goes, said this was his best work.

I’m not goiing to scoop the Guardian and reveal Elmore’s submission yet, but I thought it might be cool to see if a few of you could come up with some six worders based on Elmore’s work.

Here’s some examples of six word stories from the Wired website.

No time to think of a good 6 word Elmore story now, so how about 8 words from Seve Ballesteros, after four putting a green at the Masters early in his career:

“I miss.  I miss.  I miss.  I make.”

(from this week’s Sports Illustrated)

Oops.
Better go with, “You need rules, Stick, ten rules.”
