Sgt. Davis, The Hunted, which would make a great low-budget pic, by the way. One of my favorites by Mr. L.
technecally not a vetern yet
or the representation
of one fight ongoing
opens to us all
biggest villian
Well, we can argue if an active duty (what it was called when I was in the Army) soldier is a veteran or not. He’d been in what, something like a dozen years, glorified bank guard. Davis certainly fought a small war there in Israel those few days. He was certainly a veteran at the end, his bag of money in hand and end of service in sight.
I served six years, they call me a veteran though I saw no action and served during no wars (those who stand and wait also serve). Don’t seem right, but there it is.
“veteran |?vet?r?n; ?vetr?n|
noun
a person who has had long experience in a particular field
• a person who has served in the military : a veteran of two world wars.”
