Got off the telephone with S****** P******* at Weinstein Co. He could not
say much as he said that the Distribution Department were handling the
release. He said that “KILLSHOT” would definitely be released theatrically
by MGM (who are distributing Weinstein produced movies until January when
their agreement deal ends). It seems VERY unlikely to go straight to DVD.

He added that the November 7 release is to capitalize on Diane Lane’s
acclaimed role in “Nights In Rodanthe” and Mickey Rourke’s acclaimed role
and winning with “The Wrestler”. I guess they want to maximise the release
after the exposure of the films main leads… Diane Lane and Mickey Rourke
from their other big movies. The marketing will concentrate on Lane and
Rourke as originally agreed apparently.

I then spoke to a guy in Distribution (a J*** K****) who would not tell me
anymore. He had no comment on the movie or it’s release. Variety has
updated their release schedule with “KILLSHOT” for November 7th, as have
IMDB.

Please do NOT mention these Weinstein employees names in your Blog as they
may get into trouble for talking with me. I have a feeling that we will see
“KILLSHOT” soon and it may be on a big screen. Hopefully, both “Rodanthe”
(for Diane Lane) and “The Wrestler” (for Mickey Rourke) will be hits and
that in turn will greatly help “Killshot"s chances of a big release. Take
