What do you think of the cover for Honey’s Room?

You know, a dame with a rod is like a guy with a knitting needle.

The most interesting thing about The Hot Kid is that not only is it about crime in the 30’s, it’s written in something like the style of 30’s crimewriters, true & fictional - so that the text looks like Tony the journalist could have produced it (as, in fact, he did, according to Comfort to the Enemy). (I hope you’re following me…)
The only thing out of place was the jacket, with it’s old car but up-to-date design.
Well, the jacket on this one seems to get it right. We’re going to be holding in our hands what looks & reads like an antique.

Great cover.  It looks like it should be on a rack at a Five and Dime.

The price—29 cents, right?

The cover is terrific, a real grabber as Harry Zimm might say.

Great cover!  Wonder if Elmore ever considered calling this one ‘The Hot CHICK’?
