Gregg, with the publication date for Road Dogs being May 12th, do you have any idea when the bookstore event will be in Detroit?

Hard to say.  Nothing will be decided until the New Year and maybe not until March.  Sometimes the tour starts in Detroit, sometimes New York.  I continue to bug Publicity for answers.

Looks like the tour will include Detroit, New York, Dallas, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Elmore has accepted an invitation to the Chicago Tribune Printers Row Book Fair in June and before the tour even starts, he will attend the Tucson Festival of the Book in March.  The Tucson event will feature sons Peter Leonard and Christopher Leonard on a panel with their Dad.  Chris will moderate, but he is also writing a (non crime) book.

More later.

Sweet.  I can picture a small but dedicated entourage following Dutch around the country much like certain deadheads racking up concert stubs.

You’ll have a lot of time to kill between appearances.

2 hours away, but a better deal than LA, keep me posted, I will try to be there.

Watch the exclamations, Robb, you’re going to hurt yourself.  To our disappointment, HC decided not to send Elmore to L.A. Maybe a date will be added later.  I’m working on it.

The fact that there are more Detroit dates than usual is that he is doubling up with Peter.
