This post can branch out a little to describe some other notable chop jobs on DVDs, not just Elmore.  It’s a disgrace.  Some people will never know what they are missing.

Yeah, I thought the best thing about DVDs were the extras. Valdez is Coming isn’t even that long, doesn’t seem to be any reason to cut anything.

Are there any worth while extras on that DVD?  I might buy one for my dad.  His birthday’s tomorrow and I already sent him a copy of The Complete Western Stories and Maximum Bob.  I sent him Valdez is Coming, the book, a while back and he loved it.
