What a nice treat it is hearing the next book will star our favorite US marshall not of the female persuation.

I thought I heard it was to be a short story, but now we know.  A novel.

I am still waiting for STICK 3:  STICKEST.

Having just read Pronto, Riding the Rap, and Fire in the Hole this past month, I must say this book cannot come out fast enough.

The pilot was carefully based on a Leonard short story, “Fire in the Hole,” and he’s working on three more Givens stories to hand over to the show’s team of seven writers. The second story is wrapping up; Givens is protecting a coal company executive, and it turns out she’s not worthy of the effort.
