This was really good.  At first I just read what was on the front page and thought more or less “ho hum he is quoting Clement Mansell”.  The second time around a followed the link and read the whole thing.  He does a great job of explaining Detroit, putting it into to historical context.  It would be interesting to see something similar written 22 years later.
