Hi. I’ve started a series of podcasts that analyze Elmore Leonard audiobooks. There are three up so far and I will be posting one a week, along with some related stuff. The series is entitled Dutch Treat and you can subscribe to it at iTunes or you can get it directly from the website (http://dutchtreat.libsyn.com). Hope you dig it. - Nolen

I’m bumping this up to a blog item.  Thanks.  Not enough is said about audiobooks.

Thanks for the attention. The Elmore Leonard audiobook world is fascinating—lots of great actors (Campbell Scott, Joe Mantegna, Robert Forster, Keith Carradine, Brian Dennehy, Steve Buscemi) reading and many great productions. I’ve spent the last two months tracking down what’s out there. About 95% of the novels have been made into audio productions. Some works—like The Tonto Woman—have four different versions. Others like Glitz and Hombre don’t seem to have any versions. Sadly, much of it is out of print. Audible.com and Recorded Books seem to have the most currently available.
