SCAD Ivy Hall Writers Series - Elmore and Peter Leonard - Oct. 18

Paul Tough, Elmore Leonard, Peter Leonard and Camille Paglia (pictured) participate in SCAD’s Ivy Hall Writers Series this fall.

“The fall Ivy Hall Writers Series has something for everybody,” said Georgia Lee, director of Ivy Hall. “The diverse line-up continues SCAD’s mission to offer excellence in all aspects of the written word to the Atlanta community.”

Legendary and award-winning author and screenwriter Elmore Leonard joins forces with his son Peter Leonard, a fellow novelist, to speak about what they term the “Family Business” and the writing processes of two different generations. Elmore Leonard has written more than 40 books, including The New York Times best sellers “Djibouti,” “Road Dogs,” “Up in Honey’s Room,” “The Hot Kid,” “Mr. Paradise,” and “Tishomingo Blues.” The Leonards will speak Oct. 18, 6:30-8 p.m. at SCAD Atlanta, 1600 Peachtree St. General admission is $10.
