A Taste of Things to Come

Two films and a teleplay were adapted from Elmore’s western short stories (Moment of Vengeance on CBS in 1956 and Three Ten to Yuma and the Captives (filmed as The Tall T) in 1957.  By this time he’d had it with advertising and longed to write fictin full time.
